The word “Marula” is an African fruit, a fruit that has fed many people and animals over the years.

In South Africa you even get the best Marula liquor and then of course the Marula “moonshine”, which we don’t recommend if you want to remember all of your African Safari.

 

Marula Safaris is located in the warm heart of the African bush-veld, in the Waterberg district, which is about 3-hours drive from OR Thambo international Airport. Here you'll find over 37 different species of animals.  Depending on what animal species you would like to hunt, we will take you to our different hunting concessions - ranging from; the mighty Limpopo river where you'll find Crocodile and Bushbuck; the big open fields with multiple plainsgame like Blesbuck and Black-Wildebeest or the rich Waterberg mountains for Klipspringer and big Kudu bulls.

 

We have our own private and exclusive game farm with a lodge. The lodge has three on-suite rooms, equipped with a full bar, coffee station, wi-fi, swimming pool and boma. The boma is an equipped barbeque area where we “braai” the meat in a South African style.
